The Sebali Resort – Adults Only (15+)

The Sebali Resort opened in 2022 with about 19 villas, on a slope of a rainforest valley next to a river. Guests from 15 can stay.

Waterfall views and private pools

Several villas look onto a waterfall, and the sound of the water carries day and night. Each one-bedroom villa has a private pool with a valley or waterfall view. The Presidential villas have a heated pool, a jacuzzi of their own and a living room, and a two-bedroom version overlooks the river. Reviews mention the waterfall most.

Spa, yoga and three places to eat

The spa offers massages, with a hot tub and a foot bath, and the hotel runs yoga classes, a cooking class and bike tours. Banyan Bali Restaurant, the Bambu Uma bar and Air Cafe & Lounge are all on site. Breakfast of local dishes runs from 7 to 10, with a floating option and vegan and gluten-free choices.

A secluded setting

Central Ubud is about a 15-minute drive away. A free shuttle goes there a few times a day, and scooters can be hired. Heron Bird Village is 490 m from the resort, Ubud Palace 5.5 km and Monkey Forest Ubud 6.3 km. Arriving by air means Ngurah Rai International Airport, 37 km away.
