Beehouse Dijiwa Ubud – Adults Only

Beehouse Dijiwa Ubud is a bamboo resort of about 17 rooms and villas in working rice fields, with views of the terraces and Mount Agung. It opened in 2019 and takes adults only.

Lumbung huts and pool villas

You can stay in a traditional Lumbung rice-barn hut with a balcony, or in a villa with a private pool, a one-bedroom villa or a suite with a rice-field view. Breakfast comes to your terrace or balcony, and reviews mention ordering meals and cocktails through WhatsApp too. The rooms also have deep soaking tubs. Bamboo walls do let some night sounds in, though.

Bee Cafe and the spa

Bee Cafe serves Indonesian and international dishes, and caters for halal, vegan and gluten-free diets, as well as brunch and high tea. The spa offers massages for one or two, and there is an outdoor pool with a view.

Into Ubud

Ubud's centre is about 1.6 km away, and a shuttle makes the trip three times a day. You can also hire scooters and bikes. Rudana Museum is 1.4 km away and ARMA Museum 1.6 km. However, the last 500 m of road are narrow and bumpy. Ngurah Rai International is the nearest airport, 32.2 km away.
