Villa Semana Resort & Spa – Adults Only

Only adults stay at Villa Semana Resort & Spa, a villa resort with about 11 villas in Singakerta, ten minutes by car from the centre of Ubud. The last 100 m is a path off a busy street.

A private pool in every villa

The villas range from one- and two-bedroom pool villas to duplex pool villas, and the outlook is rice fields, the Ayung river or rainforest depending on which you get. Inside is a sunken bathtub, and outside a rustic shower. The infinity pool above the river is where most reviews turn to the view.

Treatments by the river

The spa offers Balinese and couples massage and facials, with waterfall views from the treatment spots. There are also yoga classes, an open-air bath and a foot bath. Pondok Thai Fusion looks over the pool and river, and the American breakfast is a la carte with a jungle view, served until early afternoon.

By shuttle to Ubud

A free two-way shuttle runs to Ubud. The Monkey Forest and Museum Puri Lukisan are 5 km away, Ubud Palace 5.1 km. The nearest airport, Ngurah Rai International, is 29 km away.
