Hotel 1898 – Adults Only

Set just off La Rambla, Hotel 1898 gives you a calm base right in the middle of Barcelona. It feels grown up and quietly stylish, with a welcome focus on comfort and downtime. If you want an adults-only hotel in Barcelona where you can walk everywhere, this one makes day to day planning easy.

Location & Surroundings

Step outside and you are moments from the buzz of La Rambla, with the Gothic Quarter and Plaça de Catalunya close by. A short stroll takes you to Mercat de la Boqueria for breakfast supplies, or down towards the waterfront for an evening wander. Culture is easy too, with theatres, galleries and the cathedral all within simple walking distance.

Rooms & Comfort

Rooms are designed for switching off after sightseeing, with good soundproofing and a more classic, understated look. You will find air conditioning, strong showers and beds that suit a proper sleep. Some categories offer extra space for longer stays, which helps if you like slow mornings and time in the room between plans.

Pool, Spa & Food

The rooftop is the real treat, with a plunge pool and views over the city rooftops that suit late afternoons. Downstairs, the spa adds a quiet, restorative option if you have been walking all day. Food and drinks are well judged for adults, with spaces that feel relaxed rather than lively.

Couples & Adults-Only Feel

This is an adults-only hotel in Barcelona that suits couples who want sightseeing by day and a peaceful retreat at night. Staff can help shape a more romantic stay, whether you are marking a special date or simply want a room that feels a little more considered. Mention it when you book and they can usually note your preferences. Hotel 1898 works best for adult travellers who value location, calm spaces, and a touch of spa time between tapas and museums.
