Riu Reggae – Adults Only

Riu Reggae is a beachfront resort at Montego Bay that admits adults from 18. It has 454 rooms, a private beach area and an entertainment team that works from midday to midnight.

Steel drums, shows and a nightclub

The team plays live music, fronts a steel drum band and puts on evening shows. Later the nightclub opens with a DJ. Guests like that the performers mingle with them rather than staying on stage. By day there are fitness classes, aerobics, snorkelling, diving and canoeing, and some of the water sports cost nothing.

Six restaurants, several pools

Dolce Vita, Parrillada Jerk, Bamboo, Ackee and the gourmet Kulinarium share the dining, with themed dinner nights. Jamaican dishes sit beside the international buffet. Breakfast runs until about 10:30 and comes with champagne and pastries. The pools include an infinity pool, a hot tub and a water slide, and the spa offers massages, facials and a steam room.
