Hotel Grafenstein – Adults Only (14+)

Hotel Grafenstein sits above Schenna with 25 rooms, run by a family. Guests are admitted from 14.

Wellness included in the stay

An indoor pool, an outdoor pool (April to October), a hot tub, four saunas, a Turkish bath, an infrared cabin and a Kneipp bath are free to use, along with a gym. Gardens and a sunbathing lawn surround the outdoor pool. Massages come on request.

A multi-course dinner

The traditional kitchen serves an evening menu in several courses. A salad buffet is part of it, and the kitchen caters for food intolerances. The multi-course dinner is what reviews praise most. Breakfast offers homemade jams, and there are themed dinner nights.

SuedtirolCard and Schenna

The SuedtirolCard comes with the stay: public transport, cable cars and about 80 museums. Rooms are older but very large, with balconies facing the valley and the Texel mountains. The centre of Schenna is 1.1 km away and the Taser aerial railway valley station 500 m. The Kurhaus in Merano is 5 km away. Bolzano Airport is 32.2 km.
