The Asa Maia – Bespoke Wellness Resort – Adults Only

The Asa Maia - Bespoke Wellness Resort is a hotel open to guests of 18 and older. Since 2021 it has had ten restored Javanese wooden suites built around yoga, heat and cold.

Yoga, sauna and cold plunge every day

Both room types, the Gladak Studio and the Asa Maia Suite, include daily yoga or movement, sauna and a hot and cold plunge. Morning and afternoon sessions are free, along with guided contrast therapy, evening meditation and qigong; guests rate the programme highly. The wellness area has a Himalayan salt and infrared sauna, subterranean plunge pools and a steam room, and the 17 m saltwater infinity pool is outside. There are also a fitness centre, personal trainer and full spa.

Plant-based food, all day

The open-air restaurant is organic and seed-oil-free, with vegan, vegetarian and pescetarian dishes, brunch and high tea. A la carte breakfast is free all day. Themed dinner nights, wellness movie nights and a cooking class fill the evenings.

Thomas Beach next door

Thomas Beach is 90 m away and Padang Padang Beach 1.8 km. Free bicycles and a buggy take you to nearby shops. From Ngurah Rai International Airport it is 16.1 km.
