Majango Bungalows – Adults Only

Majango Bungalows is an adults-only hotel of nine wooden bungalows in Sasak style, built like tree houses at the edge of the jungle outside Kuta Lombok. The town itself is 3.2 km away and Kuta Beach 3.9 km.

Bedroom upstairs, bathroom below

The bungalows come as Standard, Superior and Deluxe, and some look out over the garden. Each has a balcony. You climb a flight of stairs to the bedroom, while the bathroom sits on the ground level and is partly open to the air. The stairway is steep, so it will not suit everyone.

Infinity pool and themed dinners

The infinity pool has a shallow end, and monkeys and bats pass through the pool area and the gardens. The restaurant holds themed dinner nights, and breakfast covers fresh juices, vegan dishes, omelettes, pancakes, granola and fruit bowls.

From the hillside to Kuta

The hillside site means you need a scooter or a paid driver to get into town. Bikes and scooters can be rented on site, and hiking, snorkelling, diving, fishing and horse riding can be arranged. The night sounds are cicadas. The airport is Lombok International, at 11.3 km.
