La Novieta Boutique Hotel – Adults Only

La Novieta Boutique Hotel is an adults-only hotel in Ruzafa, Valencia. It has just four rooms in a restored modernist house from 1924.

Original tiles and five-metre ceilings

The restoration took about four years. It kept the hydraulic floor tiles, the wooden doors and the ceiling beams. The ceilings reach 5 m, and vintage lighting adds to the retro look. Each room carries a colour name: Amarilla, Arena, Almendra and Crema. Room 1 is mustard, with Art Nouveau furniture, while Room 3 looks out on the garden. Beds are super king.

Breakfast on the patio

Breakfast comes out on the walled patio, with local ingredients and a tomato tart. You can also choose a champagne breakfast. Guests like sitting out there, because the patio stays quiet in a lively quarter.

Ruzafa on foot

Wine bars and boutiques fill the streets nearby. Bailén metro station and Norte Train Station are both 1.4 km away. The Fallas Museum is 1.1 km away, and Plaza Ayuntamiento is 1.8 km. Valencia Airport is 8 km away.
