Location & surroundings

Set in the popular Lido area, you can stroll to sea swimming spots and waterfront promenades without planning your day around transport. Funchal’s old town is within reach for market mornings, museums and relaxed evenings around the harbour. For something special, the cable car up to Monte and the botanical gardens make a lovely half day out.

Rooms & everyday comfort

Rooms feel fresh and practical, with details that make settling in easy, including air conditioning and a balcony in many categories. Some higher rooms look out towards the Atlantic, which is worth considering if you like a sea view with your morning coffee. Storage is sensible, and the overall style stays clean and uncluttered.

Days tend to revolve around the outdoor pool and terrace, where the atmosphere stays laid back. You’ll also find a bar for easy sundowners and casual bites, plus a main restaurant for straightforward meals. When you want a change, the Lido neighbourhood has plenty of dining options, from simple local spots to smarter seafood places.
